ENT Services & Conditions We Treat

Under the expert care of Dr Gan, our ENT specialist clinic offers advanced diagnosis and treatment for a wide spectrum of ENT conditions. From common allergies to complex disorders affecting the ear, nose, throat, and related structures, our goal is to deliver personalised care that ensures the best possible outcomes for our patients.

  • Maintaining the health and functionality of your nose and sinuses is crucial. When your nasal passages and sinuses are compromised, it can lead to other complications, such as worsening of asthma, snoring and OSA.

  • Whether it manifests as a loud rattling or mild snorting sound, snoring can be a source of irritation for both snorers and their bed partners. According to international studies, up to 40% of adults snore, making it a widespread issue, including for many individuals in Singapore.

  • Unlike adults, children may struggle to communicate their symptoms accurately. Common ENT issues in children may manifest as fever and irritability, difficulty in learning or delayed speech development and recurring instances of colds or flu.

  • The human ear serves a dual purpose: it is not only crucial for hearing but also plays a vital role in maintaining balance. The ear has a complex system that sends signals to the brain, enabling us to maintain equilibrium and stability through different head positions and movements.

  • The throat, located at the back of your mouth, encompasses several key structures: the tonsils, upper part of the oesophagus (food pipe), trachea (windpipe) and larynx (voice box). It serves as a shared pathway for both the food we eat and the air we breathe.

  • The head and neck region is a complex area that houses important organs and structures, including the ear, nose and throat. Although there are overlaps with these structures, conditions affecting the head and neck typically originate from specific parts like the oral cavity, pharynx (throat), salivary glands, thyroid glands, as well as muscles, nerves, major blood vessels, and the skin and soft tissues in the neck.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our ENT Clinic in Singapore

When specific conditions become more chronic and persistent, the treatment options may be beyond your GP’s expertise. If your ear, nose or throat problems (e.g. persistent blocked nose, sinus infections, chronic tonsil infection and snoring) are troubling you and affecting your quality of life, visiting an ENT doctor for an assessment and diagnosis is the best course of action.

During your first visit, Dr Gan will take a thorough clinical history. Depending on the symptoms you have, Dr Gan may perform some physical examinations and diagnostic tests. This may include a nasendoscopy, which allows him to see clearly inside the nasal passages and sinuses. After the diagnosis, Dr Gan will advise a treatment protocol that is customised to your specific condition.

You may also ask Dr Gan any questions you may have that are related to your symptoms and condition. If you experience any discomfort, do not hesitate to bring it up. Our friendly team strives to make your visits as pleasant and comfortable as possible.

Consultation fees are charged based on the length and complexity of the consultation, and start from SGD$180 (within 30 minutes).

We accept the following modes of payment: Cash, NETS, PayNow, PayLah and all major Credit Cards.

If you are insured and would like to use E-Filing or A Letter of Guarantee (LOG) from the major insurers in Singapore, please contact us, our friendly clinic staff will assist you and provide more information if required.

Yes, you can. Our ENT clinic is an accredited day surgery clinic by the Ministry of Health. Singaporeans and Permanent Residents may use their Medisave for certain procedures done in the clinic. Please refer to our billing page for the full details of our insurance policies.

Many people often state that they “have sinus” or “sensitive noses” when what they are really suffering from is nasal allergies. Most patients with frequent clear runny nose, blocked nose, sneezing and itchy eyes suffer from rhinitis. This is a chronic condition that can be controlled with proper strategies and medication. Book a consultation with Dr Gan, and he will advise you on the best way forward.

For many patients, snoring can be an early warning sign of more serious health issues, including obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). While complex, the management of snoring and OSA is possible. It is recommended that you consult Dr Gan for your snoring and OSA issues to find out the best management options for you.
